While there is no shortage of GREAT restaurants in Houston, I still can't help but miss some of my old favorites in Austin. On the top of the list would be Tyson Cole's Uchi restaurant. Located in a restored house on South Lamar, Uchi is known for it's long wait time and fabulous fresh food. Needless to say, I am very excited about the release of the Uchi cookbook. I don't know how successful I'd be at recreating Cole's tasty dishes but I'm willing to give it a try, or maybe just add this title to my growing coffee table book collection?
