Welcome Max's!

You may remember back in June when I wrote about Max's Wine Dive coming to the Quarry Village ... well, folks, it is here and today is opening day! I couldn't be more excited, although I will probably not head over there until the crowds have died down (I'm assuming it will be crowded this weekend).

Personally, I can't wait to try (and re-try) some of these menu highlights:

MAX ‘n Cheese: Cavatappi pasta tossed in truffle cream with fresh mozzarella, white cheddar, Gruyere, and Grana Padano cheese.

Strube Ranch Kobe Beef Burger: 8 oz. Strube Ranch Texas Wagyu beef burger with Belletoile triple cream brie, house-made pickled jalapeƱos, local hothouse tomato and organic Bibb lettuce, with MAX’s famous frites. (Named Texas’ 16th Best Burger by Texas Monthly in 2009).

OBVIOUSLY: MAX’S Famous Southern Fried Chicken: House-made jalapeƱo and buttermilk-marinated chicken, deep fried slow and low and  served with chipotle honey, mashed potatoes, collard greens and Texas toast

Fried Chicken & Champagne Chopped Salad:  Iceberg lettuce with fried chicken, avocado, blue cheese, grape tomato, apple wood smoked bacon and hardboiled egg with Champagne chipotle vinaigrette

Texas Prairie Fire Chili: Texas bison, venison, seven varieties of roasted seasonal peppers, Lone Star Beer and Mexican chocolate
Open Sunday, 11 a.m.-midnight; Monday-Wednesday, 4 p.m.-midnight; Thursday &Friday, 4 p.m.-2 a.m.; Saturday 11 a.m.-2 a.m.
